Will a temporary UK number receive verification codes?
For some apps. Our UK numbers have received WhatsApp codes. They don't receive Telegram codes. Banks and payment apps often refuse internet numbers from any provider.
What happens after I let the number go?
It stops receiving calls and texts when the paid month ends. The carrier can later give the number to someone else, so move any account that sends codes to it before you let it go.
